#NewWeaveByKARIMADON returns for a second collection in time for KARIMADON’s
45th anniversary Heritage craftsmanship blends a deep celebration for the Filipina as KARIMADON presents a second collection for #NewWeaveByKARIMADON. Following the success of last year’s first launch, KARIMADON partners with the Malingkat community once again for sartorial creations that give reverence to Filipino culture.
This second collection threads together KARIMADON’s signature over feminine silhouettes with traditional Malingkat weaving. What you will find is a mix of standalone statement looks along with versatile pieces that can be used to style up existing outfits.
Embi Nicolas, head designer of KARIMADON, shares “The designs are inspired by women empowerment while embracing the timeless elegance of classic Filipina fashion. The weaves symbolize strength, heritage, and the artistry of Filipino women, blending tradition with modern style.”

#NewWeaveByKARIMADON’s second collection is also a testament to KARIMADON’s dedication to listening to its loyal clientele. Drawing from their suggestions and their diverse lifestyle, one will notice that the line features separates like the “Bituin” – a puff sleeve reversible Filipiniana bolero and “Corazon” – a puff sleeves cover up.
Either of which can be a styling piece to a formal dress and a casual ensemble. There is also “Kimi” which is an organza cover-up with a removable belt.
“Leona” perfectly demonstrates how classic meets contemporary in this collection. It is a puff sleeve top and pants set with custom abra binakol detail that can be worn as a set or styled separately depending on one’s preference.

A daring remix to the traditional is the “Gabriela” , a one sided terno gown, while the “Maria” updates the Filipiniana with a flounce on the skirt and a custom langkit weave from Marawi City. Brunches and intimate affairs call for “Marcela” and “Teresa” for those who love how the right dress can make you look instantly put together. Both dresses feature custom langkit weaves and spaghetti straps that make it ideal
